1. The service
RigorWise provides research organization, analysis, source-management, writing-coaching, collaboration, and AI-assisted research tools. Features may vary by plan and may change as the service develops.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Organizations are responsible for their authorized users and roles.
3. Trials, subscriptions, and billing
Paid plans begin with a seven-day trial unless stated otherwise. Stripe securely processes payment information. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected subscription renews at the displayed recurring price. You may manage or cancel through the billing portal. Taxes may apply.
4. Researcher responsibility
You remain responsible for research design, factual accuracy, ethical compliance, source verification, authorship, academic-integrity obligations, and final submissions. RigorWise is not an academic advisor, ethics board, legal adviser, or guarantee of acceptance or publication.
5. Acceptable use
You may not fabricate evidence or citations, impersonate authorship, violate academic rules, infringe rights, access another tenant’s data, distribute malware, evade limits, or conduct unlawful activity.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant RigorWise the limited rights necessary to host, process, secure, and present that content to provide the service. We do not claim intellectual authorship of your research.
7. AI outputs
AI outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. Suggestions, confidence labels, and source classifications require researcher review. Unverified material must not be represented as authoritative evidence.
8. Availability and termination
We may suspend access to protect users, comply with law, address nonpayment, or investigate misuse. You may stop using the service or cancel a subscription at any time, subject to checkout terms.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. RigorWise does not warrant research outcomes, publication, graduation, defense results, or uninterrupted availability.
10. Changes and contact
Material changes will be presented through the service or another appropriate notice. Questions can be submitted through the RigorWise contact form.
